Joey's to donate $1 for each meal served to Alzheimer Calgary
Calgary, AB (March 21, 2007) —
"We thought this would be an excellent way to raise money for our favorite charity the Alzheimer Society of Calgary, and to raise awareness that Joey's famous Fish and Chips is trans fat free and low in saturated fats," says Andy Taylor, Joey's Senior VP. "There are a lot of newly arrived Calgary residents that are not familiar with the Joey's brand as a cozy neighborhood seafood restaurant that offers high quality seafood at affordable prices. This provides us with an opportunity to get that message out."
Taylor stressed that the free dine-in meal consisting of two-pieces of Wild Alaskan Pollock and chips is only at Joey's 620-20 Crowfoot Cr. NW restaurant from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2007.
