- Eliminates trans fats from its cooking oil
- 5th annual Alzheimer Charity Golf Tournament (August 10). This year's fundraiser should bring total funds raised-to-date to more than $500 000.
- Introduces new casual pub concept in Canmore, Alberta. It offers a full liquor menu compared to standard Joey's Only restaurants that just serve wine and beer. The menu is the same as the restaurant.
