To provide our customers with quality, affordable seafood and fast, friendly service.
Over 6.5 million guests visit a Joey's Only Seafood Restaurant in a year.
A welcoming atmosphere combined with quality seafood at affordable prices,
makes Joey's Only a place where the whole family can go to enjoy tasty
seafood, chicken and ribs. Our guests return time and time again for
generous servings of our Famous Fish & Chips, our vast array of seafood
delights, and our savory Tennessee Jack's Rotisserie Chicken and Ribs.
Joey's Only is best known for its Tuesday All You Can Eat Famous
Fish & Chips. On Tuesday, customers can eat as much lightly battered
Fish & Chips as they want for one low price. The menu features a
wide selection of seafood including shrimp, crab, fish, rotisserie
chicken as well as salads, appetizers, desserts and kids meals. Each
seafood dish is prepared just the way you like it — poached,
sautéed in lemon, blackened or lightly fried in Joey's delicious golden
batter. As well, Joey's Only participates in a number of campaigns
throughout the year to give customers the opportunity to try new and
unique seafood dishes.
Joey's Only first opened its doors in the summer of 1985 in Calgary, Alberta.
Joey's Only began franchising in 1992. With its growing success, Joey's
Only expanded to multiple stores and began franchising in 1992.
In 1997, within five years of franchising, Joey's Only was voted "Number
One New Full-Service Restaurant Franchise" by Entrepreneur Magazine.
In 1999, Joey's Only introduced its Rotisserie Chicken and Ribs concept —
Tennessee Jack's. The first location to introduce the Tennessee Jack's
menu was Penticton (BC) on December 20, 1999. Nine years later, the Tennessee Jack's
menu option is featured in 74 Joey's Only locations. Any Joey's Only locations just
opening will also serve the Tennessee Jack's menu.
In May 2000, Joey's Only Seafood Restaurants across Canada adopted the Alzheimer
Society as a national charity. To date, over $750 000 has been raised for
the Alzheimer Society, much of which has come from an annual summer golf tournament.
Various other projects include the January Coupon Fundraiser each January during Alzheimer
Awareness Month and the Fat Fish Fundraiser each September.
