Except for Joey's Only Famous Fish & Chips and a few other dishes, the menu
items served by Joey's Only USA are very different from the ones offered in the Canadian
restaurants. Joey's Only USA developed the Canadian menu offerings to appeal to the
tastes of the US market. Although Joey's Only USA may have different menu items, they
purchase the same seafood as Canadian Joey's Only Seafood Restaurants. Also, Tennessee

The standard hours of operation during summer are 11:00 am — 10:00 pm Monday to
Saturday and 12:00 pm — 8:00 pm Sundays. During the winter store hours are
11:00 am — 9:00 pm Monday to Saturday and 12:00pm — 8:00 pm Sundays.

The first Joey's Only Seafood Restaurant was opened in Calgary, Alberta in 1985 by founder
Joe Klassen, who set out to establish a cozy neighborhood seafood restaurant. There were
no other similar concepts that offered freshly prepared seafood cooked to order at affordable
prices.
The name "Joey" refers to the founder of Joey's Only, Joe Klassen. Only refers to "only"
the best Seafood or Joey's Only — the "only" place to get great Seafood.
When developing the name for the Rotisserie Chicken & Ribs product line, the founders
wanted a concept with Southern flare to give a "Southern-style home cookin'" appeal to the
Chicken & Ribs and new side dishes. "Tennessee Jack's" fit the bill.
Tennessee Jack's is now available in over 70% of Joey's Only Seafood restaurants in Canada. Joey's
Only restaurants must add Tennessee Jack's when their franchise agreements become due and since
1999, all new Joey's Only Restaurants must carry Tennessee Jack's. It is estimated that 100% of
Canadian restaurants will carry Tennessee Jack's within the next 5 years. Tennessee Jack's is
only available in Canada.
Joey's Only/Tennessee Jack's is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. This was the location of the
very first Joey's Only restaurant and where the partners of Joey's Only live and have strong
ties to the community.
Although Joey's Only is not currently pursuing international markets; it would consider expansion
